One of my favorite things about having kids is sharing old youtube classics with them. My 2 year old runs around the house screaming “Charlie bit my finger”.

Sitting with my 7 year old daughter and we were talking about what I do at “the office”. Conversation went on to logos and I explained to her what a logo was and we began drawing logos on paper and trying to guess what brand it was. My favorite drawing my daughter did was this Evian logo.

I had a great conversation with my 7 year old about what I do for a living and during the conversation she asked what a logo is. After explaining it to her (Barbie was my example ) I did a little poking around the internet and found this fantastic book titled Graphic Design for Kids. I am so excited although I think she will be ready for this book in a year or two. It can be purchased here.
